You have to love when you are driving down a quiet road in a small town and you see a huge orange construction sign that reads:
"Inmate work crew Ahead. Please Lock your doors! NO stopping or standing."
Now, I am 100% for putting the residents of the County Jail to work. I was just amused at the way the sign read. LOL I of course immediately locked my doors because I noticed the Inmates ahead were not "chain gangs." They looked like any Tom, Dick, or Harry on the street wearing an orange vest. Each group did have a guard with them picking up trash, but the guards didn't have a rifle like you see on the Highways around here. So I chose to follow directions and lock my door. Kudos to them for picking up the trash on a hot day like today.
Not that they had a choice. No, wait...yes they did. They didn't have to commit a crime. :-)

I guess since they are chain ganged...they still have a choice, they can run??? that is a scarey thought
