Who knew?

I have heard of people slow cooking cube steak with cream of mushroom soup. At least I think that is how I came up with the idea. Who knew it was so delish? For sixteen years I have been making cube steak how my mom made it. Dip it seasoned flour, then egg, then then seasoned flour again and frying it in oil. I didn't know there was another way to make it. Oh my gosh, this is one of the best lunches I've had in a long time!

Now if I only had some mashed potatoes...

Girl, that's one of Jarrett's favorite meals. I make it all the time. LOL

I cut my steak into fours (sometimes smaller depending on how much time I have) dip it in flour, brown the outside in oil, but try to keep it pink inside, then put it in the cream of mushroom soup to simmer for a long time.

And yes, mashed potatoes is a must when you make this. The soup makes great gravy.
